Questions still need to be investigated

According to a recent poll conducted by http://www.WorldPublicOpinion.org in 17 countries, only 46 percent of respondents cited al-Qaida as responsible for the 9/11 attacks, 15 percent claiming the United States government was liable. Among the countries polled were Germany, wherein 23 percent thought the U.S. was behind the attacks, and Britain, where only 57 percent thought al-Qaida was responsible.
Though there certainly is not enough evidence to implicate the U.S. government in the attacks on 9/11, significant questions about 9/11 are still unanswered, as this poll suggests.
While incompetence in government has always seemed widespread, the level on 9/11 almost suggests complicity by the U.S. government. The Pentagon, one of the most important government buildings, was hit almost 90 minutes after the attacks began, even though Andrews Air Force Base was only 10 miles away. Furthermore, none of the response agencies followed standard operating procedures when responding to hijacked passenger planes.
Furthermore, there happened to be war games eerily similar to what actually happened on 9/11 going on that day. U.S. military planes were in the process of an exercise involving a plane crashing into a government building and a crisis in New York City. It strains reason to think that such a coincidence and such incompetence would happen.
The hijacker, who supposedly executed an outstanding maneuver that The Washington Post described as requiring extraordinary skill, had flunked flight school in Florida. Indeed, the school refused to provide further training for him because he was so bad, so how did he manage to execute that maneuver?
Additionally, the way the World Trade Center buildings collapsed is not consistent with planes simply hitting the buildings. According to Steven Jones, a physicist at BYU, skyscrapers have never collapsed due to planes crashing into them, even though other such buildings have been hit by similar aircraft. Also, the buildings fell at free fall speed, as opposed to encountering resistance as each floor collapsed, indicating a controlled explosion. Indeed, people present at the collapse attested to hearing explosions when the buildings collapsed, and some firefighters at the bottom of the buildings report being knocked down by explosions in the basement right before they collapsed.
