As she wove through the crowds, the vibrant rhythms of Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Pride and Joy" were blasting from Boo Radley's. Mesmerized, she stopped long enough to peek inside the window.

Bayfest features popular artists

The 14th annual Bayfest Music Festival will take over the streets of downtown Mobile on Oct. 3-5. More than 125 local and national music acts ranging in various styles will be sure to please most musical tastes. Some of the acts that are to perform are Darius Rucker, Nelly and Buckcherry, who all released new albums within the past few weeks.

Downloadable content. It can be a wonderful thing. After a game's release, the developers can continue working on certain additions that can be downloaded and applied to the game. Sometimes it is in the form of new multiplayer maps. At other times, it comes in the form of new items, weapons or vehicles.

Memoir on Bayfest 2006: a night to remember

I remember my first Bayfest experience as if it were yesterday. Growing up here in Mobile, I was never interested in attending the festival. I am not sure if it was just because there were never really any bands that interested me or if it was just because my parents never took me.
