Dear God, As I am sure you have noticed that I have not been attending church lately nor praying or anything of that sort, I thought you deserved an explanation. To be frank, I have been quite displeased with the way you have been running the universe and thought you would like to hear my grievances, as any concerned creator would.
USA Dining Services recently made some environment-conscious changes at The Market. Students will no longer drink from Styrofoam cups nor will they be able to load their plates onto a tray. These slight modifications are designed to make The Market more environmentally friendly, or "green" as most people call it.
The First Amendment provides this country's citizens with some of the most basic, yet important, rights. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion are three tenets we should be extremely proud of, but also extremely cautious of their security.
This topic has generated a great deal of heat due to the current political and cultural climate here in the United States. It is one that tends to ruffle feathers on both sides of the issue and is usually accompanied by loaded words acting as bullets toward the other side.
"It is morally incorrect!" "It is against religious practice!" "It is a simple disgrace among the human population!" These are a few of the more demeaning comments made about same-sex couples and their choice to marry. Individuals fail to realize people take on life as a journey, and how they live is simply their own choice.
