As a pre-teen, Keyshia Cole quickly realized music was her life. At the tender age of 11, she convinced M.C. Hammer he should put her on one of his tracks. She also scored sessions singing hooks with other Bay Area artists including Messy Marv's "Nubian Queen" remix, which was a regional hit for the rapper, and with Tony Toni Tone's Dwayne Wiggins, who, according to http://www.sing365.com, featured her on his soundtrack for the indie film "Me & Mrs. Jones. Her musical breakthrough came after the heartbreaking discovery of a cheating boyfriend. She started a brand new life and her career goals.

Keyshia Cole, 21, slowly bloomed into the music industry with her 2004 debut album "I Changed My Mind." In 2005, she returned with another album "The Way It Is" that won the hearts of many fans. The CD featured radio hits such as "Love," "I Should've Cheated" and "I Just Want It To Be Over." Two Years later she is back again with another breathtaking album released on Sept. 25, 2007, titled "Just Like You," with mind-blowing, breakthrough radio hits such as "Let It Go" featuring Missy Elliott and Lil Kim and "Shoulda Let You Go" featuring Amina.

The amazing talent that was put into this album was for the female listeners that want their significant other to put more in the relationship to make it work. This album is also directed to every female that is tired of the ups and downs in her relationships. Last but not least, it pertains to those women who find it hard for a male to treat them right. Featured artists that made the album so spectacular include Missy Elliott on "Let It Go," Lil' Kim on "Let It Go," Too Short on "Didn't I Tell You," Amina on "Shoulda Let You Go," Anthony Hamilton on "Losing You," P. Diddy on "Last Night," Young Dro "Let It Go" (Remix) and T.I on "Let It Go" (Remix). There were many producers that made this album great, such as Missy Elliott, The Runners, Soulshock and Karlin and Scott Storch, just to name a few. Keyshia Cole, Manny Halley and Ron Fair were executive producers to the album. Once you get a chance to really sit down and listen to it, you will realize she is "Just Like You."
